Connect Messenger
Connect a Facebook Page to receive and reply to direct messages.
Ricky receives and replies to messages from connected Facebook Pages. The connection is managed from the Messenger section.

Connect a Page
- Open Messenger.
- Select Connect Page.
- Sign in to Facebook and accept the requested permissions.
- If you manage several Pages, choose the one Ricky will use.
- Confirm that the Page appears as Connected in the list.
Set up automatic handling
To have AI handle the Page, create an agent and add a Hand off to an AI agent step in a workflow for this channel.
Run a test
- Send a message to the Page from another Facebook account.
- Open Conversations.
- Confirm that the conversation appears under the right Page.
- Confirm that the AI is on.
Reconnect a Page
If Ricky shows Needs reconnection, start the connection again from Messenger. This renews the access Ricky uses to receive and send messages.
Availability
Access for external customers is still pending Meta's permissions review. Tests with accounts that have an internal role in the Meta app don't prove general availability. Before planning to connect your Page, confirm availability with ricardo@getricky.ai.
